This Women’s History Month, I wanted to highlight some of Ohio’s top women, John.

An overwhelming majority of women lead Ohio's Democratic congressional delegation; leaders I'm honored to serve alongside like Rep. Marcy Kaptur, the longest-serving woman in congressional history, who has fought for Ohio’s working people for more than 41 years.

A fighter for diversity and inclusion in every facet of government, Rep. Joyce Beatty is always fighting to uplift the disenfranchised. And Rep. Emilia Sykes, who flipped one of the most contentious districts in 2022, has already used her new platform in Congress to be a fearless fighter against systemic inequities.

Today and throughout March, we pause to celebrate the sacrifices of women worldwide, reflecting on our progress and taking action in a more representative future.

I'm grateful to stand with these women as I fight for inclusivity and justice for us all. Together, we can challenge the status quo and create a seat at the table for diversity where there once was none.

Happy Women’s History Month,

Congresswoman Shontel Brown
