This week, President Trump dismissed concussion symptoms reported by American troops hit by the airstrike in Iran as just "headaches." He said they were not "very serious injuries, relative to other injuries that [he's] seen."
Let me be clear: these aren't just "headaches." They could be traumatic brain injuries, which can have serious and lifelong consequences. Maybe Trump would understand that better if he hadn't used his money and privilege to get out of serving in the Vietnam War five times.
We need people in Washington who understand and respect the sacrifices our troops make for our country.

Our troops deserve so much better than this kind of treatment from their commander in chief. It's unacceptable.
