This week marks my first district work day since Congress’s August work period began, so I thought now would be a great time to check in with you.

First off, if you contributed this month, thank you. I want to thank everyone who chipped in and helped out -- your generosity means the world to me.

That being said, we’re still behind on our July target and this week we received news that two more Republican opponents have announced a run against me and our people-powered campaign.

We must protect the progress we have made. In just the last few hours, our need to make this month’s fundraising goal just became even more critical.

If you didn’t donate this month, or haven’t given yet to this campaign, today would be the perfect time to start.
