The relationship between a doctor and a patient is built on trust. Patients trust their doctors to provide them with accurate diagnoses, effective treatments, and confidential care. As doctors we, in turn, trust our patients to provide them with honest and complete information about their health and medical history. The sacred bond between doctor and patient is important because it helps to build trust, improve communication, foster empathy, and promote collaboration.
The fact that politically-motivated activists continue to threaten this relationship across the country is disgraceful. I will not back down and I will continue to fight this.
