John, as we seek to fix our democracy and reverse the corrosive impact of unlimited corporate spending in politics that the Citizens United ruling has allowed for the last ten years, here's what's clear:

We cannot trust the politicians who've benefited from the current system to solve the problem. And Lee Zeldin is one of those politicians.

I couldn’t believe this actually existed but in his first election to Congress in 2014, Zeldin got major help from a series of robocalls by the big-money political group Citizens United -- robocalls recorded by none other than Donald Trump.

Things have come full circle now, with Zeldin serving as one of Trump's top defenders in the House. If we can defeat him, it will be a powerful rejection of both Trumpian politics and the influence of dark money in our elections.

So please pitch in $25 or whatever you can. While Zeldin courts Trump’s big donors, we are counting on you -- and we need to raise $8,400 more by the end of the month to help fund our upcoming field efforts.
