John,
NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre gave a speech at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference this weekend and spewed his usual lies, including that gun violence prevention efforts are infringing on the First and Second Amendment rights of Americans.

He called on his audience to fight because “all of our ways of life” are on the line. Gun safety legislation is not what’s putting us at risk, John, it’s the guns. Firearms are the number one cause of death for children and teens in this country and we have seen consecutive record years of gun deaths – and still, Wayne wants us to believe he’s fighting for freedom and our lives.
Amidst all the fearmongering, I do have to admit that one thing he said was correct: we have used the “power of state governments and regulatory agencies in an attempt to crush and destroy [the NRA]”. Now that is the truth, John: Brady is fighting every day to end the NRA and their deadly ‘guns everywhere’ agenda, and we won’t stop doing so until neither Wayne nor his extremist group has a platform on which to spread their lies.
When you support Brady, you’re supporting the real fight to save lives: We’re working against NRA-backed permitless carry laws, passing common sense legislation in states, and fighting to ban assault weapons in Congress. In the face of NRA fearmongering and a deadly gun violence epidemic, can you donate to support our lifesaving work today? [[link removed]]
