Cold temperatures, deep snow taking a toll on Wyoming wildlife

CHEYENNE ? Much of Wyoming is experiencing an increase in snowfall and extremely cold temperatures this winter. Wildlife managers across the state are actively monitoring the impact on big game and are seeing increased mortality in some areas of the state.


Game and Fish partners with the Muley Fanatic Foundation to host Mule Deer Days

GREEN RIVER?? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has partnered with the Muley Fanatic Foundation to host Mule Deer Days in Rock Springs, WY Mar. 10-11 at the Sweetwater Events Complex. The event will have educational and informational presentations showcasing the work of the department along with the Muley Fanatic Foundation. The event will be open Friday Mar. 10 Noon-9 p.m. and Saturday Mar. 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Sage Grouse Implementation Team to meet in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE ?The Sage Grouse Implementation Team (SGIT) will meet March 15 in Cheyenne. The meeting will be held at the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Headquarters, 5400 Bishop Blvd, beginning at 10 a.m. The public is invited to attend in-person or by ZOOM.
