Folks —

As we celebrate Women’s History Month, I’m reminded of the countless women in my life who have inspired and shaped me into the person I am today.

From an early age, my mother instilled in me the importance of working hard and being thankful for what you have. I saw her and my father navigate some of life’s most difficult hurdles while raising us kids – all eight of us!

Being a mother is one of the greatest joys in my life. For those of you who are parents, you’ll understand when I say that it’s always been my goal to ensure that my kids grow up with the same rights and privileges that I did.

However, as reproductive rights remain under attack, I’m determined to follow the footsteps of the activists and trailblazers who came before me. I’m doubling down on my fight for reproductive rights for my daughter and women across Nevada.

As I continue my work to serve the people across Nevada’s Third District, it’s strong women that I look up to for guidance along the way. And did you know that Nevada has a majority-female congressional delegation? I’m proud to serve alongside Dina Titus, Jacky Rosen, and Catherine Cortez Masto as we fight for working families across the Silver State.

I’m so grateful for the women in my life who have helped guide me to being the best mother and public servant I can be.

Wishing you a reflective Women’s History Month,

Susie Lee
