I want to tell you a little about my friend Elissa Slotkin. Elissa represents my neighboring district -- Michigan’s 8th. We’ve gotten to know each other over the past few years, because in 2018 we both flipped Republican seats in districts that voted for President Trump. Now, the country is watching to see what both our districts will do in 2020.
There’s no question that Michigan will be ground zero for the 2020 election. With competitive congressional seats like ours, a Senate race, and vital electoral college votes up for grabs, all eyes will be on Michigan.
