Hi John,
There is lots of talk right now about generational power shifts on the horizon ([link removed] ) . The first Gen Z person was sworn into Congress this January. Last month two major political trailblazers, Senator Feinstein and Congresswoman Pelosi announced their retirement. Former South Carolina governor and U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley announced a presidential run on the Republican ticket.
But what does this mean for young women?
There is a tremendous opportunity on the table to create a truly diverse electorate that more accurately reflects our country. But to do so, we must stop telling young women to "wait their turn" and actively challenge old school ideas ([link removed] ) about who a political leader should be.
IGNITE is fully invested in this work. Together we will transform our democracy.

Sara, IGNITE CEO

No Masters Class by IGNITE
At IGNITE, we're working to shift culture around what it means to be a political leader, and we're building a platform that elevates the voices of young leaders who are making an impact in their communities. Our digital No Masters Class by IGNITE ([link removed] ) series opens doors for the NEW class of political changemakers. The first three leaders featured in the series, Will Larkins, Sis and Emily Flores highlight that anyone, regardless of age, can channel their passion into social good.
