Please take our MEDICARE BENEFICIARY IMPACT SURVEY today!

Dear John,

At a time when the high cost of housing, food, gas and prescription drugs are hurting seniors’ ability to make ends meet, I imagine the last thing you can afford is any cuts to your Medicare benefits.

Yet, Republicans in Congress are now pushing proposals that would slash your Medicare benefits, reverse critical legislation that reduces monthly insulin costs to $35 and requires Medicare to negotiate drug prices with Big Pharma, raise the Medicare eligibility age and expand the privatization of traditional Medicare which would make it more difficult for you to choose your own doctor.

As one of the rapidly growing number of Americans counting on Medicare today, I urge you to please give me your candid opinions on the National Committee’s MEDICARE BENEFICIARY IMPACT SURVEY right away.

For too long the health insurance and pharmaceutical industries have tried to monopolize the debate on Medicare — and funneled billions of dollars into their aggressive lobbying campaign on Capitol Hill. That is why your participation in this National Survey is so important.

John, please help us voice your concerns about proposed Medicare cuts directly to your members of Congress by answering the 10 brief questions on our survey today!

Every day the National Committee is meeting with Senators and Representatives, being interviewed by members of the media and informing older Americans about their rights and benefits. With your help, we’ll demonstrate to lawmakers that millions of Americans depend on their Medicare benefits, and they’ve earned every dollar they receive.

Please ensure your elected representatives consider your views before voting on proposals that will impact your access to quality and affordable health care. Take our MEDICARE BENEFICIARY IMPACT SURVEY today!

Thank you in advance for your time and feedback.

Sincerely,

Dan Adcock
Director of Government Relations & Policy
