This is huge, team. As we continue to rack up progressive wins at the ballot box across the country, the national press is finally starting to pay attention. We’re so proud of how far we’ve come – but we can’t get complacent. We need to keep our foot on the pedal to ensure our movement keeps growing strong. Will you make a donation today to help us build on this momentum? [[link removed]]

We started fighting for working people through direct democracy in 2016 when we secured our first set of ballot measure victories, including minimum wage increases in Colorado, D.C., and Maine, along with paid sick leave and minimum wage wins in Arizona and Washington. Since then, we’ve won in states all over the country, in both red states and blue ones , on a range of issues from Medicaid expansion to ending predatory payday lending.

One of our biggest impacts, however, has been in the battle for reproductive rights. Last November, we helped voters in Michigan and Vermont make history by winning the first-ever ballot measures to restore the protections of Roe v. Wade and protect abortion rights for good . With these victories, we showed everyone that using ballot measures is a surefire way to defend our reproductive freedom.

But our work’s far from over, team. There are still 10 states where a ballot measure campaign could restore abortion protections after the fall of Roe . We need to be ready for the fights ahead in 2023 and 2024. Donate now to help us continue fighting for reproductive rights, paid leave, and more progressive policies at the ballot box!
