john —Once again, Republicans have developed a *terrific* plan for the deficit. Adding $3 trillion through tax cuts to the wealthy and rich corporations.

It’s alarming, but not surprising.

Meanwhile, this gift to the rich minority would be accompanied by cuts to Medicaid, which benefits more than a quarter of Americans.

What they are proposing now is not anything new. For years, Republicans have done everything possible to repeal the Affordable Care Act and cut major resources from Medicaid. Now that they are in the House majority, they will continue to hold our economy hostage, all in efforts to see this crusade against affordable healthcare through.

john, this poses a real danger. If they manage to succeed, millions of Americans would struggle to find basic care, those with pre-existing conditions would be left unprotected, medical bills and prescription prices would skyrocket, and so much more.

Tina is working tirelessly to ensure Republicans do not succeed in their efforts to hurt millions of working families while they help the rich. Because she believes our government should fight for its constituents — not Wall Street.

But this is a fight that needs to be fought together, john. So we are reaching out to you today to ask for your support with a donation of any amount to help protect our welfare programs and fight back against Republican thoughtlessness.
