As the Finance Director for the Montana Democratic Party, it’s critical that I keep us on track to hit each and every goal we set for ourselves. Our goals aren’t just about one week or one month. We track how much we raise each day, each week, each month, each quarter, and each year so that we can tell exactly what resources we’re going to have for each election.

One of the strongest indicators of how well our fundraising is going can be found in our end-of-quarter finance reports that we submit to the FEC. This report is public and tells the GOP a lot about how much money we’ll have to spend against their candidates up and down the ballot.

We need to raise a whopping $50,000 this month in order to stay competitive and to defend Jon Tester’s Senate seat. So can you help us get off on the right foot for the month by pitching in $20 to the Montana Democratic Party?

The GOP poured MILLIONS into Montana six years ago to try and win this Senate seat, and that was before it was the seat that would decide control of the Senate. If we lose the Senate, we will lose any chance of passing more legislation to help the American people and we will lose the ability to confirm critical judges.

This is the year for us to build up our war chest to defend Senator Tester and elect Democrats up and down the ballot. And it all starts with posting a strong first quarter fundraising report.
