Throughout my career as a public servant, I've made it clear that I am only beholden to the people and no one else.

I've always been someone who goes where the fight is -- from legislating a higher minimum wage and holding polluters accountable, to being the leading voice to end corruption in our politics.

I've made it clear who I'm fighting for, but the price of standing up for the American people and our democracy has resulted in constant attacks from national Republicans and dark money donors who want to maintain the status quo.
