Honor the heroes working daily to end this epidemic
Friend,
Last year, Rep. Joanna McClinton stood in the Pennsylvania Capitol fighting to end gun violence. When she was told gun safety bills wouldn’t move, she fought even harder to save lives from this epidemic.
We need more heroes in this fight to save lives. And we have them. The lawyers at Hogan Lovells took on a pro bono case to empower local governments to enact gun safety laws. It is now in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on behalf of survivors, the City of Philadelphia, and CeaseFirePA.
For years the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Center for Violence Prevention has conducted research and then put a strategy into practice to save kids from their number one killer: guns. They hand out gun locks, train doctors to discuss safe storage with patients, and educate decision-makers on their own research about life-saving laws.
These are your Keystone Courage honorees of 2023. Please join us on May 9th from 6-8 PM to celebrate our allies and remember our victories. Then take the next step to save a life.
Sincerely,
Adam Garber
