Breaking news, team: We just learned that the National Republican Senatorial Committee, the arm of the Republican party tasked with winning the Senate, is building a “nominee war chest.” That means they’re starting to collect donations to hand over to the eventual Republican nominee right here in Montana. 

The person leading this effort? Lindsay Graham. 

Look, we don’t know who the Republican nominee will be in this race. But now we know that they’ll start out with a huge war chest the second they win the primary.

We always knew Republicans would pour big money into the state — Montana is their top target to flip red and take back the Senate. That’s why we’ve already gotten to work building the resources we need to fight back.
