I forgot a couple of things when I sent out the KCDC Disability News message earlier today. 

Judy Heumann died on Saturday, March 4th.  A disability activist called the mother of the disability movement.  She will be missed. You can read more about her on her website [ [link removed] ]. 

Also, the Disability Rights Center (DRC) has a job vacancy for a Communications and Outreach Director.

The pay is between $50-$55k, great benefits (KPERS retirement, BCBS health, etc.), flexible hybrid work schedule. The job vacancy announcement is on the DRC website [ [link removed] ].
