We heard from an amazing panel of speakers, including Jayati Ghosh, world famous economist and author, who highlighted the hypocrisy of countries that were bailed out failing to support those in crisis right now.

Jwala Rambarran spoke powerfully about the historical roots of the debt crisis, and how they are grounded in colonialism, Kristiana Rehnbein highlighted the political will that led to Germany’s debt cancellation and Sunny Morgan from South Africa spoke about the global Debt for Climate movement today.
