Ben here. This is admittedly not the email I wanted to send you on a Friday morning, but with all the impeachment news this week on top of the work Mary Gay has been focused on, we’re still short of this week’s fundraising goal.

 

We’ve built a powerful operation out of PA-05 with talented staff and organizers who have dedicated themselves to doing whatever it takes to keep Mary Gay serving. But we know that national Republican groups are about to really ramp up their dark money spending against Mary Gay.

 

And I can’t stress this enough: Mary Gay has been a champion for families in southeast Pennsylvania. While the GOP relentlessly attacks her, Mary Gay charges on because she knows exactly what’s at stake this November.

 

Mary Gay knows there’s much more than just her name on the ballot. Voting rights, gun safety measures, the costs of healthcare and prescription drugs, our planet, and the future of our country are all on the line -- and we’ve got to get our government back on track.

 

As campaign manager, it’s my job to keep the campaign running and ensure our programs are funded through November so Mary Gay can continue her work. And when we miss goals, I’m the one who has to figure out what gets cut first, so that’s why I’m reaching out now.

 

We need to pick up the pace on our January fundraising so we can go toe-to-toe with the national Republicans trying to unseat Mary Gay and stop our progress.
