Between now and the end of the month, we're looking to raise $15,000 -- approximately how much we've spent per winning race in the last three years. Today, I'm asking you to chip in $15 to make sure we get there.
We're not a presidential campaign bringing in millions of dollars, and we're not a nonprofit funded by a corporation. The money we raise online from people like you who get these emails, follow along on Twitter, and talk about us with their friends is the money that we have to recruit and support candidates.
We have so many races we'd like to focus on in 2020 -- state legislative races that could determine which party has the power over millions of people; city council races and school board races that will affect infrastructure funding, education funding, and more; and races so small that they'll be decided by just a few votes.
These are things we can do with the right resources. Help us hit $15,000 over the next week and let's do a whole lot more together.
