We need a representative who will listen to us and vote in our favor, rather than for the corporate-dominated status quo.

Alex Morse for Congress -

What's keeping this team up at night?

“I’m very afraid of the uncertain future ahead and the current disasters around the world related to climate change. I believe that corporate money influencing politics is our country’s greatest barrier to saving our planet.”

“As an 86-year-old woman, I cry for the children who will not be able to live on a sustainable planet because of our leaders' greed and ignorance. Calling my representative is a study in futility.”

“I am constantly concerned about threats to cut Medicare...I also feel gas and food prices are out of control. More and more folks struggle to make their money last from check to check while the rich get richer and have no concern for others.”

“I am thankful every day that Roe v. Wade has helped millions of other women like my mom help determine how their own bodies would function and how they would raise children or not, and I am fearful of what will happen to our society when women have their rights stripped away from them, as is happening right now.”

What’s keeping you up at night, friend? That’s the question I asked this team last week, and above is just a glimpse of some of your responses.

From reading your stories, it’s even clearer to me that the current status quo is failing our district and our country, whether it’s the growing climate crisis or a broken healthcare system that bankrupts our families.

One of the biggest factors preventing our leaders from taking bold action on these issues is their allegiance to their special-interest donors—and that includes Congressman Neal, the number one recipient of corporate PAC donations in the entire Democratic Party.

I’m sorry to say that money shows up all over his voting record, where he can be seen siding with Republicans on policies that will hurt us, like surprise medical billing, climate-adverse trade policies, and the expansion of natural gas. Meanwhile, outcomes have flatlined in Western Mass, where it’s been two years since Neal held a town hall or confronted our pains face-to-face.

This election is our chance to write a new story for our district and our country. It’s time we had a representative whose only special interest is the people he represents. Will you chip in whatever you can today to help me get to Washington and make that a reality?

Thank you,
Alex
