John: In a moment I’m going to ask you to make a donation to my re-election campaign, but first let me tell you why.

Sharlese wrote to you previously to explain that we’re going to have to break North Carolina fundraising records before our first filing deadline of the year.

We’ve come so far, but in order to show the Republicans the true strength of this grassroots movement, we need to raise $75,000 by February 15th.

I know this is a big goal, but I have faith that this grassroots team can step up to meet the challenge.

The Republican Governors Association has millions of out-of-state dark money ready to pour into this election, and we need to be prepared now more than ever.
