2020 Pastors' Briefings

This opportunity is open to pastors and ministry leaders.

We know that the Bible addresses all of life, and gives us guidance on what we need for daily living. However, current polling has shown that two-thirds of church-goers say they get nothing relevant or useful from church attendance today, and nearly three-fourths do not invite friends to their church. The church must once again show that God's Word does indeed apply to every aspect of daily life.

One of the areas frequently addressed in the Scriptures is civil government and public policy. While these subjects are largely avoided by many in Christendom today, previous generations of pastors openly and frequently addressed issues related to government in general and specific legislative issues in particular.

While we seek for a spiritual renewal in America, we also need a reviving of what the British in the American War for Independence dubbed the "Black Robe Regiment" -- a reference to the fact that ministers (who wore black clerical robes in those days) were so impactful in shaping American thinking.

In this new season of challenges and triumphs, we’d like to extend a special invitation to you to join us at the WallBuilders' Congressional Pastors’ Briefings in Washington, DC. The briefings include a nighttime, private, after-hours Spiritual Heritage tour of the United States Capitol, and a day filled with exclusive briefings from leading Senators and Congressmen on current issues of importance to people of faith.
