On Monday, Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill ending Disney’s Corporate Kingdom. Under this new law, the days of special treatment and exclusive privileges for Disney are over. By appointing a new board and putting the district under state control, Governor DeSantis has restored accountability and returned power to where it belongs – the people of Florida.
This week, Governor DeSantis wrote an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal to explain why he took these unprecedented actions to rein in Disney’s corporate kingdom:
