A TOWER OF FIRE soaring into the sky! A mushroom cloud of DEADLY GAS staining the air! Fish FLOATING LIFELESSLY down streams! People coughing with SORE THROATS and BURNING EYES!

These are just a few of the horrific images coming out of East Palestine, Ohio where a freight train derailed near the border of Ohio and Pennsylvania. The train was carrying TOXIC CHEMICALS like vinyl chloride, ethylhexyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, and more! These chemicals are seeping into the ground and local waterways endangering residents and killing wildlife!

Because of how chemicals spread through the environment, every moment after a disaster like this counts! Please, Friend, DEMAND Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro take IMMEDIATE ACTION to protect their communities and wildlife from this CATASTROPHIC CHEMICAL SPILL! To make matters worse, officials tried to do a “controlled burn” of the chemicals, spreading them into the air. But burning vinyl chloride creates a toxic gas that was used as a BIOWEAPON during World War I! 

After a traumatic incident like this, many people want nothing more than to be able to return home, rest, and heal. But East Palestine residents can’t even trust that their homes are safe. 

The railroad workers union warned that these safety issues were a “TICKING TIME BOMB” but the government didn’t take action, and this is the result. State governments could set up health clinics and test for toxic chemicals. But we need YOUR help to make them act! If just 1,089 more people sign before 11:59pm TONIGHT, we can reach our goal and send the Ohio and Pennsylvania governors a strong message: Give immediate support to East Palestine residents!
