Jeopardizing Social Security and Medicare: Millions of Americans rely on Medicare and Social Security, but Republicans are making ending these programs as we know it one of their major policy proposals.
Cutting the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid: The GOP’s proposed cuts to the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and Medicaid would raise health care costs and could leave many without coverage. In fact, it could put 40 million Americans’ health insurance coverage at risk and more than 100 million people with preexisting health conditions could lose critical protections.
Extreme Abortion Bans: Some Republicans are even backing state-level and nationwide abortion bans with no exceptions.
