John
I wanted to make sure you heard:
Recently, we joined states around the country in America Saves week, a weeklong program that encourages people to do a financial check-in and understand their finances! This year's theme is "A Financially Confident You". So, I put together a little checklist that includes one way to get involved per day.
Can you see how many you can check off?
Day 1️⃣ - Saving Automatically: Do you automatically move a portion of your paycheck into savings?
Day 2️⃣ – Saving for the Unexpected: Do you have 3-6 months of expenses saved?
Day 3️⃣ – Saving for Major Milestones: Do you use a 529 College Savings Plan to secure your child's education?
Day 4️⃣ – Paying Down Debt is Saving: Do you have a plan to pay down credit card debt, student loans, or car loans?
Day 5️⃣ – Saving at Any Age: Do you understand that it's never too early or late to save for your future?
John, I value programs like these because they can be life-changing for people who never got the chance to learn these concepts themselves. But it takes a conscious understanding of your finances to begin the process of securing financial success. I'm proud to help lead the way with Delaware's involvement!
Campaigns have financial goals too—can you help us build up for whatever the future throws our way by donating today?
