Thank you so much for opening this email, Team. I know that it might not seem like a big deal, but today, it’s really important. Let me explain:
Keeping in touch with you over email is such an important part of our campaign operation. Through emails like this one, we can reach folks across the country in an instant with important updates on my work in Washington and breaking news on our campaign. We can organize volunteers, reach out about upcoming events, get your input through our surveys, and ask for grassroots support, when we need it.
It’s a powerful tool, and it’s not one that I take for granted. You are an incredibly important part of our team, and being able to talk with you and hear your priorities means so much to me.
But when email providers make changes, or when we use a different system to send these emails, we run the risk of landing in your spam folder — which is the last place we want to end up!
I know it might sound strange, but opening and clicking on our emails makes a huge difference for our campaign — helping us stay in touch with folks in Wisconsin and across the country.
So Folks, can you please click this link (or the image below) to show email providers that you care, that this matters to you, and that you’re a part of our team? This link will bring you to our website.
We’ve been using the same tool to send you emails for years now, but recently we moved to a new platform, which can put our email placement in a tricky spot. Email providers like Gmail need to see that folks are opening and clicking our links so they don’t mark us as spam in your inbox.
This might seem a little technical, but it’s really important to our campaign. The difference between a healthy email list and one where we end up buried in your junk folder is the difference between a successful campaign and one that falls short.
Please, can you click this link to help our team out? I appreciate your support and your help with this quirky ask!
Thank you so much for staying in touch. Your continued support means the world to me.
