We blinked and suddenly it's already the third month of 2023! From Eric’s perspective, we can’t even begin to imagine how rapidly time has flown to March.

To say a lot has happened since the swearing in the 118th Congress would be an understatement. We get it, friend, it's super easy to get lost in all of the noise. That’s why we have compiled a check list of things happening in Eric’s world so far this year:

• Eric voted against Kevin McCarthy 14 times while he sat back and watched House Republicans erupt into chaos as they tried to elect a Speaker.
• After finally being elected speaker, McCarthy used his grip on MAGA extremists to boot Eric from the House Intelligence Committee.
• On the House floor, Eric called out Jim Jordan who was the author of an anti-Semetic tweet from the House Judiciary GOP Twitter page.
• Eric called out Matt Gaetz for bringing an alleged murderer to a Judiciary Committee meeting. All of this happened as a result of Gaetz thinking he could prove a point by trying to get Eric and his Democratic colleagues to vote against the Pledge of Allegiance.

Team, let us remind you that through all of the noise, Eric has stayed committed to fighting back against the MAGA grip on House Republicans like Kevin McCarthy, Jim Jordan, and Matt Gaetz.

That’s why we are already gearing up for whatever is thrown at Eric next. With our first FEC deadline rapidly approaching at the end of this month, we’ve set a goal to raise $50,000 before March 31. Please chip in so Eric can continue adding to his checklist – the future of our democracy and delivering for the American people is far too important.
