Fellow Democrat,
I wanted to reach out about the IDCCA’s 2023 Party Builder Awards — just
TWO days away!
Democrats from across the state are coming out to celebrate with me and my friend,
Michael Macellaio, President of the Chicago & Cook County Building Trades Council. It’s one of the most prestigious awards in Illinois, and I am so honored to be one of this year’s recipients.
Celebrating with us will be our Honorary Event Co-Chairs Tim Drea from the Illinois AFL-CIO and Bob Reiter from the Chicago Federation of Labor. We are also excited to be celebrating with our Honorary Host Committee of Governor JB Pritzker, Lt. Governor Juliana Stratton, Attorney General Kwame Raoul, Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias, Comptroller Susana Mendoza, Treasurer Mike Frerichs, Senate President Don Harmon, Speaker of the House Emanuel “Chris” Welch, Democratic Party of Illinois Chair Lisa Hernandez, and Cook County Democratic Party Chair Toni Preckwinkle.
I hope you’ll join me at this year’s reception at the iconic Chicago Navy Pier!
