[link removed] [[link removed]] John,
In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Donald Trump made a wildly dangerous claim.
He said that he used the FBI to help Gov. Ron DeSantis win the gubernatorial race in 2018.
If true, that would mean that Trump used federal law enforcement to attempt to sway a race in favor of a political ally – a new low in abuse of democracy and the judicial system for the former president.
Look, Trump lies… a lot. But this certainly appears to be him admitting to committing a crime. And this wouldn’t be his first time. We believe it’s far past time to hold Trump accountable.
CREW believes that anyone – even a former president – must be held accountable when they break the law. If you agree, donate to support CREW’s work today → [[link removed]]

Without citing any evidence, Trump claimed that he sent the FBI and U.S. Attorneys to end unspecified “ballot theft” before Democrats “ran out of votes” necessary to win the Florida governor’s race.
John, this continues to play into Trump’s ludicrous and baseless “stolen” election conspiracy theories that have been disproven time and time again.
We know that Trump continues to lie about the 2020 election, and continues to undermine and attack our democracy.
If we are going to defend our democracy from Donald Trump, then we need to act urgently to hold him to account.
CREW is doing just that. But going up against a former president is no easy feat. That’s why we need our grassroots team’s support.
