Any day now, a Trump-appointed judge in Texas is expected to rule in a case that could halt nationwide distribution of the abortion pill mifepristone, even in blue states.

This decision could have sweeping implications, from completely cutting off Americans in red states from access to the standard two-step regimen, to increasing wait times at abortion clinics in blue states.

Now that Roe v. Wade is no longer the law of the land, Congress must take action to protect abortion access at the federal level. And in order to do that, we must take back the House next year.
