New ELPC Report Highlights Rural Energy Success Stories

ELPC has been a champion of the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) for twenty years, as part of the Farm Bill’s Energy Title. ELPC’s new report features seven stories of people who have used REAP to reduce their energy costs and environmental impacts, along with recommendations for improving the program in the upcoming Farm Bill.

ELPC Urges Michigan Supreme Court to Protect Waterways from CAFO Pollution

ELPC and partners are urging the Michigan Supreme Court to reverse a lower court ruling on Clean Water Act permits for industrial livestock pollution. Biden Administration “Clears the Air” on Reducing Mercury

Last week, the Biden Administration issued new rules to reduce mercury emissions into the environment. We commend the administration for reaffirming the “appropriate and necessary” finding to support regulating dangerous mercury pollution.
