Friend, 

With the fall of Roe, and everything that's come since, Women's History Month feels a little different this year. But although it would be easy to feel defeated, I'm more committed than ever to building a more equitable future. 

I'm proud to stand with my Democratic colleagues to champion federal abortion protections, and I'll continue to be an outspoken advocate for equitable prenatal and maternal care. There are widespread racial disparities in our healthcare system, which particularly harm Black and brown mothers and babies. 

Reproductive healthcare is healthcare, and I'm committed to defending it — and I know you are too. In the past year, we won huge victories in Kansas, Michigan, and right here in New York City.

These egregious attacks have reminded me just how powerful our movement is, and it's clearer than ever what's possible when we get organized.
