I hope you and your loved ones stayed safe and warm this week as our state received some much-needed snowfall!

As many of you know, March marks the beginning of Women's History Month.

I am reflecting on all the incredible women breaking down barriers and working to move our country forward.

The 118th Congress is the most diverse in our nation’s history, and I’m proud to serve alongside so many extraordinarily talented and exceptionally qualified women representing communities across our country. 

The 5G and Beyond Caucus will ensure America remains at the forefront of digital innovation.

It was great to help kick off the bipartisan 5G and Beyond Caucus this week to promote innovative future technologies – from faster broadband services in rural communities to more extensive phone signals, 5G is the future of technology.

I will continue working to close the digital divide to ensure Granite Staters can fully participate online and in the 21st-century economy.

The Rural Broadband Caucus is working to expand access to vital communication technologies in rural communities.

Whether it is a small business connecting with customers online or families receiving critical telehealth from home, access to quality and affordable internet is crucial for families to thrive.

As a Member of the Bipartisan Rural Broadband Caucus, I am proud to have secured critical funding in the American Rescue Plan to help modernize communication technologies and expand their reach. As we look ahead to the 118th Congress, I look forward to implementing this legislation and supporting communities in New Hampshire and beyond.

It was great connecting with friends and colleagues at the New England Council.

New Hampshire has a special way of doing things – and it is an honor to bring our values and voices to Congress. Earlier this week, I spoke to members of the New England Council about our shared goals and the work that lies ahead in Congress to deliver for our region and our economy.

I will continue working to support businesses, families, and communities across New England!

Discussing New Hampshire's infrastructure initiatives with Commissioner Bill Cass.

From our roads and bridges to our highways and airports, New Hampshire's Department of Transportation truly keeps our state going! It was great to meet with Commissioner Cass this week to talk about priorities for the future and progress made under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Package.

We will continue collaborating to ensure New Hampshire has the modern infrastructure Granite Staters need to succeed!

New Hampshire is home to some of our nation’s best and brightest. I was proud to announce that I have nominated 23 young Granite Staters to our esteemed U.S. service academies.

These future leaders are up for the difficult challenges that lie ahead, and I wish them the best of luck as they make our state and country proud.

I will always fight for those who served our country.

This week, I had the honor of meeting with the New England Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America.

It's essential that our veterans who sustained life-long injuries during their service can access the care they need and are afforded the basic accommodations every American has a right to. I am proud to fight for our veterans and will continue working to ensure they receive the respect and support they have earned and deserve.

Lowering Costs at Home: As the Inflation Reduction Act is implemented and its provisions are rolled out, Granite Staters can take advantage of many new tax credits and rebates to lower energy costs.

Capping Insulin Prices: The Inflation Reduction Act capped out-of-pocket insulin prices for seniors on Medicare—now, Eli Lilly is following suit in capping the cost of some insulin products.

This is a step in the right direction, and I urge other manufacturers to do the same.

Protecting Our Youth Online: This week, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children launched a new tool to help young people remove explicit photos of themselves online. 

This tool has the potential to change lives, and I am thrilled to see it implemented. While this is an important step, we must continue pushing to protect children and teens online.
