*Job Purpose:* Barkla Close in Clifton is a purpose built residential unit for adults with learning disabilities, to engage in short breaks and activities that enhance their health and wellbeing. The home has three separate single rooms and a supported living approach is encouraged, to help develop independence and choice over how care is provided.
Care Workers at Level 1 implement Care Plans and report any concerns or reasons care plans cannot be followed, as well as monitoring care and welfare of citizens, recording accurate information on running records, communication books, care plans monitoring charts (e.g. weight monitoring, falls, etc.) and other written and electronic communications as required.
Care Workers at Level 1 are also expected to work and cooperate with other professionals, as well as citizens and their meaningful others, to ensure a shared approach to care and support and continuity of care and treatment. *ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:* Implementation of Care Plans and contribution to running records and daily monitoring forms;
Ability to encourage and support citizens to achieve and/or maintain maximum independence, and to maintain contact with friends, family and community;
Knowledge and understanding of the rights, needs and feelings of vulnerable adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds;
Ability to follow all instructions, policies, procedures and guidelines.

The Development Specialist role within Children's Integrated Services will be working with an arrayof job roles including Social Workers, Early Help Family Support workers, Residential Care workers, Foster Carers, Play and Youth Specialists as well as allied health professionals. You will be working with a small team of specialists to develop, deliver and continually review our Core Training programme and support multi agency training pools and programmes, such as Child Development, Mental Health First Aid, Safeguarding and Restrictive Physical Intervention. You will be responsible for procuring, co-ordinating and facilitating training events and vocational qualifications. You will be working with our Development Consultants in providing specialist career pathways, supporting our Social Work programmes,designing bespoke short sessions, assessing for qualifications, design and delivery of e-learning solutions andevaluation techniques.

*ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:*

* Training qualification or equivalent level of experience and/or relevant Social Care, Family Support, Health experience

* In-depth knowledge of current national agendas affecting the children's workforce, including early intervention, safeguarding and health and social care integration
* Advanced presentation and communication skills to a variety of audiences
* High level analytical skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement in seeking creative development solutions to complex integrated workforce issues
* Proven ability in the design and delivery of training packages, including e-learning solutions
* Proven ability of developing a variety of stakeholder forums and learning opportunities for a diverse audience

Are you anenthusiastic and self-motivated individual with experience in providingprofessional, proactive and efficientadministrative support?
