John, together we're making gun safety an issue our politicians
can't ignore.

More than 500 volunteers packed the Texas state capitol this Tuesday to
call for action to end gun violence during one of our largest statewide
advocacy days ever. And in the last week alone, volunteers with Moms
Demand Action and Students Demand Action showed up in force for advocacy
days in Alaska, Colorado, New Mexico, New York, and Oregon.

Together we are calling on our elected leaders to enact critical gun
safety laws, while putting the gun lobby and their government cronies on
notice that we will never back down.

Fighting for gun safety in every single state would be impossible without
our thousands of incredible volunteers. And when we're going toe-to-toe
with the gun lobby, it requires a lot of financial resources, too—that's
why we rely on grassroots donors to keep us going.
