"There are many conservative women whose work and stories are overlooked. If you listen to the media, you’d think all women think alike and care only about progressive policies. But that’s not true. Champion Women is all about celebrating women across the spectrum."

Vogue Editor Exposes Her Bias Against Melania Trump
|
|
The Story
First Lady Melania Trump hasn’t been on the cover of Vogue since her engagement to Donald Trump and, it’s likely, she won’t ever be again. In a recent interview, the magazine’s editor exposed how her political bias colors her view of Trump and the partisanship behind the coveted cover spot.
In Short
Progressive Privilege is discriminatory, and it’s wrong. In this case, they fawn over Michelle Obama but pretend Melania Trump doesn’t exist. If Vogue wants to be a voice for women, they should at least be fair to all women and treat women the same, regardless of their political leaning.

- The rise of female incarceration is staggering, with incarceration rates increasing by more than 700% since 1980.
- Sentencing changes led to more women being incarcerated and for longer periods of time.
- Incarceration removes economic opportunities for women, negatively impacts children, destabilizes families, and harms communities.
- Serving a criminal sentence should not mean females serve in dehumanizing, unsanitary, unsafe, or unhealthy conditions.
- Women have unique health and wellness needs that do not disappear when they serve time in prison.
- Once a woman leaves incarceration, she needs to work.
- Too many women are locked out of opportunity because of their criminal background.

No, Ayanna Pressley: My Conservative Black Voice Matters Too
The Story
Squad member, Massachusetts Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley commented during the leftist Netroots Nation conference that there is no room for people of color who vote differently, think differently, or disagree with them on issues.
In Short
All black people do not think the same, nor should they. Black people are not a monolith just as women are not a monolith. They don’t all share the same experiences or view life through the same glasses. Pressley's statement was insulting and intolerant. Our strength as a nation is our diversity of thought and unity of purpose.

Trump Saves Taxpayers $2.5 Billion by Directing Food Stamps to the Truly Needy
The Story
A new rule from the Trump Administration would fix a loophole that allows Americans to automatically be enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) without vetting their income and assets.
In Short
The Trump Administration proposes closing this loophole and forcing states to do their jobs by checking that beneficiaries actually qualify for aid. Taxpayers have been ripped off for too long. Truly needy Americans also suffer when others with means selfishly divert the limited amount of public assistance we have.
