Senator Amy Klobuchar just reintroduced the SHIELD Act to the new session of Congress, so HER Time is picking up the fight again. 

The SHIELD Act would address the online exploitation of private images. 

Survivors of image-based abuse like myself have been waiting for Congress to take action here — it’s long overdue. 

We’ll be applying pressure to key legislators to finally get justice and real protections for the 1 in 8 Americans who have been victims of nonconsensual pornography.
