Dear John,


We all know Chuck is the same plainspoken farmer from New Hartford he's always been. Did you hear what President Trump said about him last week at the White House?

Before putting pen to paper to seal phase one of the China trade deal, President Trump recognized Chuck for his toughness. He said, "This guy's the toughest guy. He can say something in a nice manner, and everybody's afraid, right?"

Chuck knows you have to ask the tough questions to hold our government accountable, including the EPA's implementation of the Renewable Fuel Standard. Chuck's always fighting for us.

President Trump also brought up one of Chuck's favorite topics, renewable fuels. He said, "You know, Joni [Ernst] would call me, along with Chuck Grassley. They'd call us in tandem. You can't beat the two of them. All they want to know about is ethanol, ethanol."

There's no better pair to fight big oil in Washington than Chuck and Joni.

Let's keep up the fight for Iowa,
