In 2018, we made new history for the MassDems by giving fresh energy to a proud tradition. In the 1970s and '80s, Boston's Chinatown was an essential stop on the political circuit, bringing people together to build friendship over a banquet meal in Chinatown. Over the past few years, we’ve rebooted this tradition with the help of attendees from across the state to raise funds, to bring new people into the political process, and to support our coordinated campaign efforts.

Get ready for a night of delicious cuisine and cultural celebration as our annual Chinatown banquet returns on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 6:00 pm, held at the Empire Garden Restaurant (690 Washington Street, Boston, MA). We understand that plans may change, so please take note of our updated event date from our previous notice. But don't worry, if you've already purchased your tickets, they will still be valid for the rescheduled date.

We’re grateful to Co-Chairs Mayor Michelle Wu and Chairman Aaron Michlewitz for once again spearheading this initiative to support our party’s organizing efforts.
