We hate to be reaching out with more bad news, but Iowa Republicans are making moves to outlaw all abortions in the state. 

It doesn’t end there, though. The bill is modeled on Texas’ SB 8, which empowers citizens to sue anyone who “aids and abets” abortion. The law would require internet service providers to block all access to pro-choice websites. That includes abortion funds, providers, or sites that connect women with abortion pills. 

It’s dystopian. This bill would effectively force public libraries, schools, and colleges to censor access to information to the public. 

Plus, any person who sends or receives abortion pills in the mail would be punishable by FIVE years in prison.
