Dear John,
Despite the United States leading in the development of modern aviation, our airport infrastructure remains far behind other countries. According to some rankings, zero U.S. airports are ranked in the top 25 of airports worldwide.
That’s why I worked hard to help pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which invests $25 billon into our nation's airports to reduce congestion, strengthen our supply chains, and help Americans travel more quickly and at lower costs.
I’m proud to report that over $11 million of that funding is making its way to Sacramento International Airport to help improve the experience for travelers, and support good-paying jobs in our region.
