Real Justice

We have a BIG update on the Keita O’Neil case for you, John.

A California Superior Court judge filed to delay the hearing of DA Brooke Jenkins to dismiss the charges against former officer Christopher Samayoa, who killed Keita O’Neil.

This delay is only until March 7th, meaning we have less than 5 days to make sure that Attorney General Rob Bonta takes action on this case!

There is so much at stake and so little time left — we need to apply as much pressure as we can on AG Bonta to act before the deadline or else another cop will walk free after killing an unarmed man.

Right now, justice is hanging on by a thread. We need to use this one week extension to our advantage and create even MORE pressure.

John, will you add your name right now to demand that AG Bonta take charge of the case before the March 7th deadline? Then, share this petition to family and friends to pack on the pressure?

SIGN ON

We can’t allow Keita’s family to grieve the loss of their son without any form of justice — especially when Real Justice-backed former DA Chesa Boudin worked so hard to hold this cop accountable. Now, police union-backed prosecutor DA Brooke Jenkins is SO close to rescinding it.

If these charges are dropped on March 7th, it will be a slap in the face of thousands of victims at the hands of police officers who are holding on to a sliver of hope for justice.

These next few days will be MAKE OR BREAK and we need to get as loud as possible to demand that AG Rob Bonta pursue this case and properly prosecute Christopher Samayoa.

Time is running out and we need you and everyone in your circle to take action now. So please, if you have not done so yet, add your name to this petition to demand that AG Bonta take charge of this case before March 7th.

Once you sign, please share our petition with everyone you know and tweet tagging @AGRobBonta and @RobBonta.

We are counting on you.

In solidarity,

Real Justice
