This is not going to be an easy campaign. We're the only toss-up district in California and the NRCC is already publicly targeting this district.
But even in a race as competitive as this one, I'm not scared.
In 2018, we were able to unseat a 30-year Republican incumbent. We won because we were a people-powered campaign actually standing up for folks in Orange County. We knocked on doors, talked to voters, and listened to what folks really cared about.
The same is true this year.
We've got a big fight ahead, but I know we can take it on with you on my team. So I really mean it when I say that I'm grateful for you.
