This month is immensely critical to our campaign's success,

 1. March is the final month in the first quarter of 2023.
 2. At the end of this month, we'll have to post our fundraising numbers
publicly for our opposition to see and make judgments about the
strength of our campaign. 
 3. Jamaal is dedicated and determined to bring true legislative change,
not only for NY-16 but for communities like ours — so he needs to
focus 100% of his time on fighting for our values, and not fundraising
for our campaign.

Last month's fundraising proved loud and clear that we have the people
power, our movement is growing, and our vision is stronger than ever. Now,
with our first Federal Election Committee fundraising deadline of 2023 on
the horizon, it's time to kick our movement into high gear.

When it comes to what our grassroots community finds most important, we
realized that mutual aid efforts, resource building, and amplifying
progressive legislation is our bread and butter,
John.

That's why, we want to make sure that we have the resources to keep up
this fight and continue making waves for our values year-round. From
canceling student debt and strengthening our education infrastructure, to
fighting for labor rights and holding corporations and elected officials
accountable for their actions — we have a lot of hard work ahead of us.

We're working to build a boost of grassroots support so that we can
continue championing progressive causes day in and day out — no matter
what our opposition throws our way.
