2022 was a high-stakes year for our democracy – and thanks to financial supporters like you, the ACLU of Alaska was able to show up with the resources to make a difference. We continually raised the alarm about severe civil liberties abuses within the prison system, and demanded answers about the record number of deaths within its walls. We helped educate voters about the dangers of a constitutional convention, and Alaskans overwhelmingly rejected the convention and protected access to abortion. And, we are gearing up for another year of change-making in our great state.
