When Chinese spy balloons were flying over our country and invasions at our Southern Border were reaching historic milestones, it should have been clarion call to the White House, our national security apparatus and Congress.

Unfortunately, Washington is falling short when it comes to protecting the American people. In a nutshell:

• We need to do a better job at securing our airspace.
• We need to do a better job at fighting cyber warfare from China and Russia
• And we need to do a better job of keeping Foreign State Media companies like Al-Jazeera from running around Capitol Hill ignoring our laws.

I’ve called on Attorney General Merrick Garland and the White House to take action, but they’ve failed to react. That’s why I’m turning to freedom-loving Americans like you.

Will you join the Bergman Battalion and help me keep the pressure on AG Garland and the White House to do their part and protect the American people from these national security threats?

Credentialed members of the media receive unparalleled access within the Capitol Building and it’s the kind of access a foreign government could leverage to spy on us.

Al Jazeera has 136 people running around here and the New York Times only has 82 with the same access.

Shouldn’t that be raising more than just my eyebrows?

I served in the USMC for over 40 years, and I won’t accept the failures of any of our leaders who are failing to even run background checks on the foreign journalists on Capitol Hill.

China. Russia. Qatar. These are just a few of my concerns.

And since Joe Biden and his Administration are sitting on their hands and busy taking victory laps for ruining the economy, falling for China’s false assurances about the COVID-19 outbreak, raiding Mar-a-Lago, or giving asylum to illegal border crossers, I’m pushing a new bill through Congress that will close the loophole and force compliance for these Foreign State Media Companies.

Can I count on you to support my efforts to protect America?

The Chinese government isn’t placing any limitations on how they spy on us which is why we need to place limitations on who and where citizens of their country can go in our nation, especially within the Halls of Congress.

The Democrats up here seem more concerned with preventing freedom-loving Americans like you from roaming the Capitol Corridors than a spy from Moscow or Beijing.
