ADL Responds to Terror Attacks, Anti-Palestinian Rampage



Throughout the month of February, ADL reacted to numerous Palestinian terrorist attacks that killed several Israelis, including US-Israeli citizen

ADL

strongly condemned an anti-Palestinian rampage by Israeli Jews in the West Bank village of Huwara, where Palestinian cars and homes were set on fire. ADL also
[link removed]
condemned the incitement to violence from several political leaders, including Knesset Members, and urged Israeli law enforcement to ensure that those involved in the Huwara violence are held accountable.

ADL Meets with Partners in Paris



Marina Rosenberg, SVP for International Affairs, and Andrew Srulevitch, Director of European Affairs, attended the annual Paris dinner of CRIF, the representative organization of the French Jewish community and ADL's French partner. Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne was the featured speaker.


During their visit, Marina and Andrew also met with the CRIF leadership, the Assistant Director-General of UNESCO, a leading French extremism researcher, and the Israeli embassy. They also paid a commemoration visit to Hyper Cacher, the kosher supermarket and site of the 2015 antisemitic terror attack that claimed four victims.

Israel and the Middle East


In response to tensions surrounding the legislation on judicial reforms in Israel,

ADL endorsed President Herzog’s call for consensus , imploring “all parties to exert responsible leadership and avoid incendiary rhetoric.” ADL added: “We further call on leaders to commit to upholding democratic values and the protections of minorities enshrined in Israel’s founding Declaration of Independence.”

offered condolences to the Turkish and Syrian people impacted by the series of massive earthquakes in both countries, and wished the injured ones a speedy recovery.

wrote about the need for the US and the West to reject isolationist voices and continue supporting Ukraine against Russia’s aggression.

In response to a statement by Russian President Putin’s falsely labeling the Ukrainian government a “Nazi regime,”

ADL delivered four Words To Action trainings on responding to antisemitism to Jewish young adults in Europe.
